How do I scan a sardine tin?
Tap the Scan tab at the center of the tab bar. Point your camera at the barcode. If no barcode is found, use the AI Vision button to identify the tin from a photo, or search the catalog manually.
How do I add a tin to my cellar?
From any sardine detail page, tap "Add to Cellar." Set a purchase date, storage location, and price. The app tracks aging and reminds you when it's time to flip.
What is the flip reminder?
For tins aging in your cellar, flipping them periodically ensures even oil distribution. Tinwise tracks your flips and sends reminders based on your chosen interval.
How does the omega-3 score work?
Each check-in calculates your omega-3 intake based on the sardine's nutritional data and your portion size. Your score reflects recent consumption and decays over time to encourage regular intake.
What are Sardine Fast Challenges?
Challenges let you set goals for sardine consumption over a fixed period — 72 hours to 30 days. The app tracks progress automatically from your check-ins. Abandon any time.
How do I export my data?
Go to Settings, then Account Settings, then tap "Export My Data." You'll receive a downloadable file with all your reviews, cellar entries, and profile information.
How do I delete my account?
Settings → Account Settings → scroll to the bottom → "Delete Account." All your data is permanently removed within 30 days. See our Privacy Policy for details.
